I bought this the other day. It didn't come with a motor so I have to put one in.

Since this is a GT site does this mean your powering by a gasoline engine , tractor , hit-miss ?

Very nice. I'm an avid woodworker and a little envious. I have an old 12" Foley Belsaw planer that I've had for a couple of years as well as a smaller Ryobi 13" bench top planer.  I have the same problem with woodworking tools that I have with garden tractors, running out of room for more stuff. For that size planer I would think you would need at least a 5 HP motor.
