Just got a Roper 12 today, well looked at it we bought this one and a 16 lawnboy last year. Now my son says he wants something bigger and heavyer to cut his grass his lot is very hilly roper just spins. You know these kids wants new one, so i said bring it over will give to your mother. I got her a JD rear engine riding mower 2 years ago she just LOVES it, i dont even have to cut grass anymore but it is awful to work on so will sell it maybe, the Roper is a hydro so it will be easy to run. My garage is full of Masseys i love her but she is not getting one of them she runs. over stuff lets it run out gas just sits there until i get home i drive truck so it might sit there all week. 2 lawnoys 4 masseys now a roper the jd will have to build a shed or something have to quit buying but can,t stop i,m hooked!

Don't feel bad, I got about 3 more tractors than what fits in my shop. Right now one is under a tarp, and 2 are out in the back shed addition (couple walls, a roof, and a mud floor..), and one of those 2 is the 444. I have no clue what I am going to do to remedy the situation either

You sure got that right!

For all my life I got along with just one garden tractor to mow my yard and the JD crawler for the heaver work.
Then a few years ago, I got bit by the "Tractor Bug" and now there is one for mowing and one for snow removal.
Another seven have shown up just because I like them.
And the JD crawler spends most of it's time sitting in the barn.

So don't feel bad, it's a terrible sickness but at least you can take comfort in knowing that you don't have to suffer thru it alone.
We are all here to give you support and encouragement.

Nova ss, with all that said, I would like to add .. congratulations on your new tractor.

I now have 3 in my 2 car... I mean 1 car 3 tractor garage. I think the car may be outside most of the summer as I work on the final restore of the MF8. I caught the bug about 5 yrs. ago. My wife doesn't mind at all. She likes tractors - as long as I don't spend the grocery money on them!!

Think it's time to get more roof space myself. Will be tarping until then, and feeling bad about it.

Thanks for the offer, Matt... But how are we figuring out visitation? Are you bringing them up to visit, or would we have to go there?
