I'm taking my 54" MF 1855 deck apart and I was wondering how to get the pulleys off the spindle shafts. I didn't see anything in the manual and I figured I'd consult the experts here so I don't damage any parts that are no longer available. Thanks!

I loosened the bolts, but didn't try to pull them off quite yet. I have them soaking with penetrating oil now because there was a good amount of rust under the covers so I'll see what happens tomorrow. Thanks!

The shafts are steel but the hub in the pulley a plastic material like the belt surface. Sometimes you may have to use a puller with light pressure.

I was able to put a longer bolt into the spindle shafts and tap each one out. I got all 3 out successfully. Thank you!
