I really like the look of the round headlights on the 140's and would like to have something like that on my 318 I am building.  Does anyone know if they will interchange??

Not even close to working.  A 200 and early 300 series might work but there are some differences.  One from a 318, 322, 330, or 332 is a guarantee.

My original 318 hood is just fine, I just really like the looks of the front headlights on the 140 and was hoping they might interchange.

I got it.  Putting my 120 and 312 next to each other I can see similarities but know there were some significant changes made on the 318 and late machines.  Looks like you NEED a 140 in your garage.   :smilewink:

I would agree with that but finding one in my area is almost impossible.

What we need is a nice LED headlight upgrade like was done to the full size tractors that match the 318's hood styling.  JD went to halogen sealed beams set into the hood, resembled the "bar light" of the 318 but with much better lighting.  Halogens make lots of heat, but some narrow rectangular LED's, one centered directly ahead in the middle, with two angled slightly on each side behind the stock lense in the 318's hood would be perfect and really light up the place.   The cost of LED' are coming down fast, might be able to do something like this in the near future affordably.   Mike

I'd love those strip lights in my 312 hood...

How far is too far for a 140? There is one for sale in northern Virginia.

Also, I put leds in my 317. Just bought replacement 1156 bulbs from amazon and they work great.
