I'm trying to figure out the proper way to mount the rear of the deck. I have a big lever off the right side of the tractor. Underneath the mower on that lever is a big L shaped bracket with a hole on each end. How do I attach that to the deck itself and which hole in the L shaped bracket do I use. Pics would do wonders if anybody has any. Oh and it's a 42" deck. Love this mower but the deck is getting irritating trying to figure out. Thanks in advance

I don't know if the big arm on the right side is what they refer to as the large lift lever.

The curved L bracket goes with single hole end on the bar by the axle. The opposite end hole attaches to the vertical bar on the front of the deck. The small hole just forward of that is where the small rod (5/16?) attaches. That runs to the bracket from the deck down to the rear rollers.

Ok. I'll have to get a pic today after work. I think I'm missing a part cause all the previous owner had was just a chain connecting the arm to the deck. So how do you raise and lower your deck without the arm sticking up on the right side?

Any info on what I'm missing? The manual is kinda foggy when it comes to the large lift lever(I'm assuming that's what I have) on how to attach the deck to the arm. To me it kinda reads that the smaller deck has a arm with an s hook and a clevis and a chain and the bigger deck uses just the arm with the clevis and no chain??? Any help would be appreciated
