The 600 being the only tractor setup to mow, got called for action and mowed around the house today! Overall it did well, and I was quite impressed with it. For being a 1964 it was pretty comfy to ride and didn't miss a beat. The reel mower is great to use in the taller grass. It doesn't bogg the tractor down like a mower deck would and it doesn't clump or blow grass into my fence, or heavily coat a single area with grass exiting the shoot. It drops it back behind the reel mower in nice even fashion. I snapped a few pics after the 600 had finished the job. Enjoy!!

Looks like it did a great job. I am about due to cut the grass for the first time here now, but it decided to snow today. I was out plowing the pig pasture just yesterday.

SNOW! That's a swear word around here! I have a brand new snowmobile that didn't get used last winter and I'm still over it! Hopefully the weather changes for you soon!

That reel mower did a great job.
We are currently getting a snow/hail/freezing rain storm, and our grass has just barely began to grown, likely won't be cut for another two weeks.

I've got a nice reel mower in the original gold color. Now you have me thinking about getting it in good working order and use it in front of my old tube frame tractor. I bet it would do a nice job on my lawn even if only a few times a year.

When my grass is tall and I mow around my house, I'm forced to blow grass either onto my chain link fencing, or into my driveway. Both directions makes a mess, and looks terrible.  I generally choose the chain link fence to plaster grass on rather than my stone driveway.  With the reel mower it cuts the grass effortlessly and all the clippings drop behind the mower. No mess!! I did have to take it slow though, because if the reel mower gets bouncing alot, the cut quality gets worse. So I mowed in 1st most the time. I wouldn't mow my whole yard(1.8 acres) with it, but for around my house, garage, and landscaping it does great.
