Hi, I have a 1960 Craftsman ride on model 131-8120. I'm restoring.   I can't find the model number info for the engine.  It's not on the metal shroud, so I'm unable to find/order gaskets for it.   Can anyone help with the model number for this engine? Perhaps the number was on a metal tag that was removed at some point. Thanks so much.

Scott:   Some of the Craftsman/Tecumseh engines had a metal tag attached to a breather (valve spring cover) screw.   ......The engine numbers were stamped into the metal tag.   ....If it's still there, copy all of the numbers and post them here.  .....The Craftsman number can usually be interchanged to the Tecumseh model number.

Kenny:  What info do you need about your V60 Tecumseh?

 Welcome to the forum! If you find the Sears # for it, at the back of this manual is a listing for Sears to Tecumseh.

A good readable parts manual would help!
