Apparently there is suppose to be some sort of a belt drive that takes the drive of the belt from vertical to horizontal on the 110 John deere tractors. Mine is missingk.
I do not know what it is called but, if anyone has a spare, please reply. Must be a belt PTO or some such.
Nope... that is a v-belt that runs between the two bullies on the tractor and the tensioner/clutch assembly tightens the belt between the pullies in the pics.
So, am I missing something between the mule and the mower deck, It just does not seem right that the belt would have a 180 degree twist in it to take the power from horizontal to vertical.
There is a belt that runs from the inside pulley on the mule drive to the deck and there is a twist in it.
The part numbers depend on the serial number of the tractor and the mower deck.
