I am looking to get a box scraper for my driveway and some yard maintenance. I have decided for the value the brinly blade should do fine for a few years and small projects. Now that I am ready to purchase one they are back ordered from the suppliers I have found.
I am in northern Ontario but my mother travels to Detroit as she lives close to the boarder.
Does anyone have any insight on where I can possible find one.

Thanks!

Home Depot? Sears?
You can have one ordered from Northern Tool, but you'd have to have it sent somewhere.

I'm not sure if mine is a Brinly, have had it about 20 years.  I can tell you I used it to dig up a gravel driveway and wore out a lawn tractor doing it.  Then it sat in the fence row for 18 years.  Got it out last fall to use behind my Speedex to do some grading on the lot, including tearing up roots.  It still looks almost new so I think you might get more out of one than you expect.

Mine is not for sale, but I am just west of Detroit.  If you find one and want to ship it here you can.

I am sure I will be getting more use than a couple years of use from it.
But we will be selling this house we are in and will be purchasing land to build a home and larger hobby farm than we have now. I Wl at that time be getting likely a kubota with loader and get a larger box blade for the 3pt on that. The sleeve hitch at that point likely won't get much use, maybe in tight areas.

Hey! Good to see another northern ontario resident on the site. Whereabouts are you?

I'd say northern tool is your best bet, prices are rather reasonable. Sears and Home Depot make you pay through the rear.
