Ditto!  That's one of the nicer WB's I've seen.  

 

 

Stuck valve?  Did you pop the head and peek?  Very common.

I only pulled the breather cover to look. The valves appeared to be moving fine. Ill take the head off once I get a replacement gasket.

Cleaned the wonderboy gas tank. So much rust removed yet the tank is still in good shape.

I've started working on the wonderboy again. Tore most of the motor & gear box down. Still need to check all the pullies and clean them.

Does anyone have experience with these wonderboys? The high/low range isn't shifting right. Seems like an excessive gap between the diff and gearbox.

The one tire I did. It was already ripped open and the tube was escaping out haha. You can see it in this picture20160420_152544.jpg

14XXXX model B&S should be 6hp.

oh wow. I'm even more confused now with this wonderboy. This means the motor is not original? According to a manual I found for this wonderboy, someone wrote down B&S Engine 141300. On SimpleTractors, it shows this wonderboy as 4hp.

I would think that engine is original to it. the time era matches, I have some literature on these I will look tonight
