It was a beautiful day here in PA today and I decided to see how well the 19" Rotary Field Mower attachment works on the Model 2 Rototiller.  Take a look here.

Is that the one you had at Lebanon expo? Almost too pretty to use.

No it is not.  It is an earlier Model 2 and another Rotary Mower that was used lightly.  I put the mower I had at the Expo back in the box.

Pretty neat mower attachment ! I'm guessing its kind of direct running of the blade ?

Never seen anything like it. Pretty neat.

You sure destroyed a lot of pretty purple flowers in a short time.  :D

The motor base tilts to serve as a clutch and that would stop the blade fairly fast as the motor base has a "brake pad" that contacts the driven sheave.

It's amazing how they came up with all sorts of ways of doing things like that , I guess that's why when most of us go to tractor shows we spend hours going over tractors,  attachments other equipment  ect just to see how it runs & works
