Looks like this is a pretty popular thread!  I didn't realize there were so many Snapper/Massey owners.  I think the original dash decal didn't stick because there wasn't that much surface area for it to adhere to because of the smaller surface area of the textured plastic compared to smooth plastic, which the original dash should have been made out of.  Smooth, thick HDPE plastic would have fit the bill nicely.  I'm really getting crazy here now, but I don't think it would be all that difficult to make a reverse mold of the dash and make it out of fiberglass.......hmmmmmmm! :D

This is true, but the texture sets these tractors apart from the rest. Maybe a flat dash and textures surround? Either way, someone needs to step up and do us all a favor, and make them. Any takers?

When we talk about texture it is not on the surface where the decal sits on.  That surface is smooth. Just so we Know.

I'm darn sure that the dash on the 1200 that I restored years ago was all textured. Even under the dash. Hmmmm, now I'm curious.

Just walk out to the shop and where the decal is seems to be smooth.  Let me take a look at some of my other tractors that have no decal on the dash.

Will get back.
