As some of you know my wife has had some health issues the past few weeks. It started when we came home from Our Christmas visit to N C. The wife and I both got the Flu and it took me almost a month to get over it. Joey got over her bout with the Flu a week or so after I did. She has been working herself the last 6 months on Scholarships with my oldest Daughter trying to get her first 4 years paid for before she goes on to becoming a Trauma Surgeon. We went to my family in IN for a long weekend at Easter. during the drive up there Joey started noticing her cheek swelling up and by the time we got within an hour of Mo and Dad's it was so swollen that her eye was even swollen shut. We stopped in the last big town before mom's place and went to the ER to get her checked out. The Dr. put her on Antibiotics and we went on in. She continued to get worse so we actually left the next day and drove straight thru to get her back home to Our Dr.. 6 gays alter she started running a fever and hurting all over and Our Dr. sent her to a Ear, Nose & throat Dr.. He tells us that she now has a viral infection and put her on yet another antibiotic. This last Sunday morning I get a frantic call from Joey about noon saying that she is going to the ER because she is broke out over 50% of her body with a red rash and even has some blistering on her arms like she has Poison Evy or something. I take off and get to the ER and wait for some word of whats going on. The Dr's finally realize that she is having a severe allergic reaction to the antibiotics and take her off everything. She started feeling better within just a few hours. So today I go back to work about 6AM to make sure everything is getting done to ship out the job on time today. We work thru lunch in the rain and get it all finished up just about the truck pulls into Our yard. We load it up and send it down the road. It's now bout 3PM so I send everyone early and thank them for all the extra effort they put in to get the job out. I lock up and head up the road to get a quick sandwich to hold me over til dinner tonight. As I walk out of the restaurant,I blindly trip over one of those parking lot curb stops and fall flat faced onto the concrete and get up thinking I'm going to be sore for a couple days because How I landed on my left wrist. As I drive home my wrist continues to hurt and swell up. By 5PM I decide it's time to go back to the ER for myself this time and get my wrist looked at. I now have a splint on my wrist because i broke a couple bones in it. Some day you just can't win !!

BTW, it's my writing hand, oh how this will be fun for the next few weeks. Sorry for being so long winded.

Sorry to hear your having a rough go of it, just remember that it is the toughest of times that bring out the best in us all! I hope you and yours get well soon and sincerely wish you did not have to face this in the first place. I hope you recover as quickly as possible and nothing keeps you down. I face many medical obstacles in my life and the kind words from others, even the words of those on the Internet always help me keep my spirits up. I hope the same works for you and if you ever need a hand I am sure someone hear or elsewhere will be more than willing to lend it!

Just remember that HE only gives us as much as we can handle. We may think we are overwhelmed but HE already knows we will make it thru!

My trouble when facing medical trials, is that I don't feel strong enough to get through God's testing. Stay strong Brian!

Sending prayers from SE Ohio, you certainly have had to travel thru some knot-holes this last year or so...

hope things turn around, I had a day like that awhile back, everything that could go wrong did, I finally said im going to bed where its safe and sound, only to jump in bed and realize that my wife left her toe nail scissors on the bed, well its a water bed need I say more, so I proceeded to the couch where I hoped it was safe and sound. some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed
