I know why Bolens didn't offer a 60" deck on their early imported Iseki tractors. It won't fit. I recently bought a Snapper Z6002M mower deck from a ZTR. When stuffed under the Bolens, it will not allow the front wheels to turn to the halfway point. The deck could be trimmed on the front side since it is sloped. But, that was with the mower sitting on the floor resting on it's anti-scalp wheels. If raised up to a proper cutting height, it won't fit period.

The reason I tried this is because the 48" mmm barely covers the width of the tractor. (45" with the rear wheels set 'wide') I have lots of stuff to go around on my 2.5 acres, and the narrow deck/manual tranny isn't working too well. But I really like this tractor, and want to use it to mow with.

Possibly a deck with a different profile or blade setup would fit? Not sure but I have seen larger decks with smaller exterior bladesign fit in tight spots.Good luck!

A cogged 60" snapper Snapper deck might fir but then you would have a cogged Snapper deck.I have several 60" decks that might be good for references if you have any measurements of what you need.

I am going to try to make this into a front mount deck. My G152 has 2000 rpm front/mid mount pto, driven off the front of the engine.

I removed the gearbox off the 48 deck, but since I'm going off the front side of the pto, I'll have to flip the gear box. The gearbox cannot be flipped around internally.

The gearbox mounts to a metal plate on the 48" deck, so I can do the same here, upside down. Original set up:

Sorry about the multiple postings, I'm doing this off the phone.

I will have to rear mount the gearbox on the deck:

image.jpg

My main concern is the framework to attach the deck. Because the gearbox has to go on the back of the deck, it will have to sit quite a bit out front of the tractor. I'm worried about the flex/twist that will exert on the mount. I am going to try going off the tabs that hold the snowblower frame, and use swivel caster wheels out front.

You may want to look at the bolens ek or gk for some ideas on mounting and such they are very good front mount assemblies. Good luck.

JD makes 42" & 44", 3 blade decks. I have been looking for spindles and blades off of one of those for a while. I was going to try for a 54-56" rear discharge mmm deck.

I don't understand how you can call that a fake Bolens? Bolens put their name on it and marketed it. It must have been a part of the Bolens line up. The big deck will be one of those rare prototypes that just never made it into production.
