Well this Bolens 1668 followed me home for some reason lol. It's a project/parts tractor since the engine doesn't run and needs some work. It did come with bolens weights and a snow plow so that's a bonus. I'm still not quite sure why I bought this lol.

I'll post more as I get some time to work on it.

My guess would be that it was a bargain. The definition of a bargain is "something you don't need at a price you can't resist". I have a few bargains around here myself.

I picked one of those up in northern Michigan. Didn't want to run unless a few drops of gas were used to prime the carb. Turned out the anti-after run solenoid was sticking. I snipped off the plunger and it runs great! Am in the process now of rebuilding the snowblower. PO had used it with chain loose and stripped the teeth off the sprocket. So... New chain, sprockets, and bearings. Will list it for sale on craig's once complete.

Well looks like this tractor will be going to a new owner here sooner than expected. I was offered a trade for a Sears SS14 and decided to take the offer.

You'll be happy with it.She's a work horse.I'm still using her till you make it out.

Just rolled the yard out today with the neighbors HUGE Concrete loaded 1,000lb yard roller. She pulled it right up the hill 3rd gear hi range and still had power to spare.Tomorrow morning I gota haul 4 or 5 trailer loads of dirt in to fill a couple big holes in the yard and dig out the wood ash pile from last winter. That's usually 2 big heavy loads of ash.

Just hoping I can get your bolens running as good or better than the Sears does.I'll get her cleaned up and running and she'll be a good work horse to.I really enjoy working on them.Gets me out of the house and in my happy place :rolling:

Bolens and Sears tractors are so simple to work on to.And Briggs engine parts are easy to find and fairly cheap.

You bringing your plow tractor along? If your brother coming out with you again?

I know I talk a bit to much but you people are like extended family   And I like to BS alot.lol

Looks are deceiving. This one was beat hard for a long time. It's been gone for a few months now.
