I have a 16hp K341 engine that is going to be rebuilt.

The crank has been ground down 0.010, and the cylinder will be bored 0.020.

My question/problem is....I am having a difficult time coming up with the correct part numbers for the rod & piston.

I have been looking at KOHLER part numbers thinking that if I get the right KOHLER number, aftermarket numbers will be easily crossed.

If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

The complete KOHLER engine number is: Model: K341  Spec: 71179  Serial: 3023500409

There's new style and old style piston and rods and you have to match them (Cant have one or the other)

I'll run the numbers and get you pricing as well I should be able to beat/match the good aftermarkets.

Well unfortunately with the combo you need aftermarket is not crossed in any of the well known aftermarket manufactures.

Your options are "Mahle" which is the new and improved design piston and Rod and there is also old style which there is an aftermarket rod for atleast, no aftermarket kits are available complete in the spec sizes you need.

I gave as much discount as I could, send me a PM for more info, prices include free shipping

Mahle style piston , pin , rings and rod OEM Kohler  $ 400.02

"old style"   OEM kohler Piston,Rings, pin,  & Aftermarket rod  $ 311.99

Kohler certainly dosent make it appealing to buy their piston and rods with those prices, I thought Wisconsin piston and rods were expensive until I became a Kohler dealer!
