Looks nice, but not restored back to original. Someone spent some time on it though.

Seat pans says 900 ish ??? , engine says I don't know ... The 900 had a 8hp, 1000 had a 8 1/4 hp I believe . Notice pics are a couple years old. Decent looking machine, ID it , get the correct decals, Stew can make a seat cover. Be a nice looking unit.

I'm really looking for a 900. One that is much closer to home also. That is a nice tractor and it looks like most of the brown is original paint with the metallic flake in it.

If it's a 900 it has the wrong transaxle in it.Engine should be an 8 1/4hp S8D for the 900.1000 has a TR10D

Noticed the incorrect transaxle really quick.Look at the rear hubs.See anything missing?

Still not a bad price if it runs good.

It looks like a 900 to me engine should be the S8D 8-1/4HP

Seat pan is original but someone added the wrong padding, the wheel hubs should be 3 bolt not 5 but someone could have simple replaced the hubs from something like an 850 or put a whole 850 trans in there.

The hood decals were actually available by Bolens and they were originally sold in the 80's to replace the hood decals although they are not right for a true resto. they were available to put on your TF hoods.

Missing the locking Diff nut on the left hub.Definitely has the wrong transaxle in it.And 5 lug hubs possibly out of an 850 like Brian said.

Man you guys are Fussy!  I don't know the tractors, But that is one of nicest colors I've seen on Bolen's posted here. Seems just a little different white than on most and that brown looks more Greyish.  I like it. As noted, did nice job on it.  Correct? have no real idea.

Stew can make a seat cover.

We'll find out soon enough, I will be bringing him two 900 seats at the end of the month.
