My shop has the same 32 GB Ipod I spoke of yesterday in Adam's Merle Haggard thread. Most of the songs are from our CD's, but for a buck a song I also buy some occasionally. Some full albums can be bought for around 5 bucks. I still have a lot of CD's to load on it yet. Need to take an afternoon and do it.

Streaming really won't work well for me as the computer is in an office but I spend most of my time in the work bay. The old stereo has speakers wired into both rooms and that ipod cassette adapter works great.

I have a stereo with cassette , CD and radio. FM doesn't work to well since I installed T-8 bulbs in the garages. They make to much static. I listen to the CDs and old tapes.                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Roger.

I heart radio on my I phone. No data usage if I am on wifi. It's great as I can just carry the music with me in my pocket.

I never noticed Iheart taking up that much memory.  May have to try Pandora just to see what it's like.

I have 1000 tunes on the laptop in my garage, but I also watch vids when I'm stalled on projects. I have a couple of terabytes of movies and TV shows, mostly war and sci fi, but other classics as well

It's all plugged into a surround sound system I picked up cheap shown through a 32 inch flat screen

When I'm in the shop I usually have the TV on which is why I usually never get anything done lol. But for music I have spotify. Have it connected to my truck and my pc so I have everything up to date.

We have Sirius satellite radio in all the buildings at work and I have it in my truck, well worth the money for no commercials. I tried listening to a local station the other day and gave up after I drove 15 miles listening to commercials.

I dont like the pandora/ spotify/ Ihrtradio stuff. I dont like all of the commercials and half of the music they think I want to listen to. I have a rhapsody account and have 17,000+ songs that follow me at work, in the truck, on the boat and in the shop. You can build playlists or shuffle you favorite songs.

A couple years ago I took my parents classic vinyl collection and saved them to a 5 terabyte external hard drive which I already had my music collection on. I have that connected to an old laptop which connected to the stereo. I am my own DJ! So depending on what mood I'm in... could be anything from Jim Ed Brown or Waylon to KISS or Michael Jackson! Lol... most days I just put it on random play...I could probably listen 24/7 for days and not hear the same song.
