I would say late 60s on the year. Its nice that it looks like it has the original wood tailgate which is most times gone.
As for price if its something you want go for it. Another thing is if you can get it for less than a new box store brand I'd say your doing good. It'll out last any of the new ones.

any good cart will bring $100, any less than that and you are doing good.  the box store crap goes for way more than that.

Sure looks like a Bolens cart, see the link below to compare with the one I picked up in last fall.

I use one similar to yours and it is all but indestructible. I'd go for it and have no problem paying $100 for it. Check out the prices of the rubber maid trailers with the vinyl tires on them.... this metal one will out last the newer ones for sure.

Looks just like the one I have. I agree with the above pricing.  The cart is a little on the small side but still very handy.

Found this up the road a couple years ago and Offered him $100 cash for it and he said NO.Even offered to give him a newer cart the same size and $75 and still said NO :wallbanging:

Funny thing is he uses it 1 or 2 times a year to haul grass clippings to his mulch pile with his little Craftsman mower then it sits outside all year. The bottom is getting rough in it now.

What a shame! It is unfortunate some people don't know what it is they have. Though once in a while us Bolens lovers can benefit, but more often than not the equipment we would hold dearly is left out in the grass under the trees to rot.
