Sun out nice, windy as heck, still pretty cold, did get up to 51.  Got our the Deere and put the deck back on and got the push mower kinda ready. None have new blades or anything to make real ready, but what the heck. Do that later.  The grass is pretty big by the buildings and in areas where sign shines most of day. Kinda raced around and faster than usual mow speed as lots did not seem that tall. SO, I had Seat time today, sorta!  Half-a** work, but now can claim first mow, ha!

Now mowing here yet.  Temp hit 82° f here this afternoon about 4.  Cooling down this evening though.  Sprinkled a couple times but no rain.  Need a good shower.  Granddaughter helped plant the potatoes this afternoon.  When grandma took her to meat her mother it is right next to the train track.  BNSF main line.  Empty coal train went West and Harper was waving away and  the train crew waved back to her.  Made her day big time.  She loves trains, tractors and helping Grandpa.  She want to get the garden railroad train out and running.  Hope to do that before knee replacement a week from Wednesday.  Mowers are ready but she is a little young to mow yet a 5yo.  Sure loves to drive the Gt's though and has a RAM that is hers.

I'm planning to mow for the second time tomorrow, first was two weeks ago. That was mostly wild onions and clumps of early fescue. Filling in good now.

Have mowed and rolled twice {at the same time} in the last couple of weeks. I then ran the plug core aerator all over my yard last week. Even though there was snow all over the ground this morning, I plan on spreading Scotts #1 this week.

I haven't mowed yet and it shows! That's the agenda this weekend! Gotta get the Toro 322D out and serviced! The GT4000 is ready, just no time to run it as yet! Maybe catch the yard later today! Gotta rake the leaves out from the fence first!

Mowed for the first time last week with the F725 that I bought right at a year ago (old pic, same mower).  HPIM1761.JPG

I need to scratch the yard with the thatcher:  Garden Tractors 2015 001 (3).JPG  then over seed!

I like the F725 and I would like to get a thatcher this year, also an aerator. Would anyone like to send me money? :smilewink: :smilewink:
