Went down to Ricks this morning to pick up the Gannon Earthcavator I purchased from him in the fall

Got to see some very nice machines including a Lawn keeper and a couple largeframes and the freshly redone Bolens 1000 which looks better in person!

Talked about Bolens for a while then headed back north

Also walked away with a souvenir :D and I may have to use it as YES that IS SNOW on the hood of the car! :wallbanging:

Very nice finds - did Rick let your drive or at least sit on the 1000?  :dancingbanana:

Don't feel bad - we had snow on the ground this morning and they are talking about 2.5" for tonight but spring is coming because I have seen two robins in the last week.

Was glad to get to do some talking today with Brian and his Dad,we had met at a couple auctions but were to busy watching items to do much talking, the Earthcavator went to a good place,I'm sure in the near future we will see it shinning like new,I guess I wasn't a good host,I never thought to have him try that new seat out,he was very impressed with Stews(29Chev) work on it,I hope at sometime we can get back together,Thanks again Brian

You still getting snow? Damm, I've had to mow 3 times and tilled the garden.

I mowed twice, started mulching, need to mow again, and it's snowing here... I'm about an hour south of Rick.

When I was over at Ricks last time he showed me that earthcavator, that is a massive attachment built way better than what is offered today. That is a Good buy, congrats!

That's the one I brought back from the ST. Louis area some time back.

It was advertised as a 3-pt, but ended up being the Bolens tube frame specific one which was a happy coincidence. :D :D :D

One thing I noticed was that the decals on the sides are different than what I've seen on other Earthcavators.

I'm wondering if those weren't for just the Bolens hitch ones.
