What do you use to rip your MP3s?  Trying to consolidate and reduce my CD library and want to re-rip some of my stuff at higher bit rates than the first time out.  I do want to keep MP3 format as it allows me portability between Mac and Linux machines.

I think Audacity would be your best bet but there is also RipperX a GTK program and AsUnder.  It depends what is available in your repositories for the distro you are using.  Also Handbrake for Video works great!

PCLOS has their own flavor of FF-Multi-Converter and it does work very well.  I've been using it to rip audio out of video's.
