You are so right! you can buy a decent running tractor for the price of a non running Cub around here.

You guys mean to tell me I have one worth something...well thats a first!!!..I just want something to cut the weeds with..dont really care what it is or what it looks like..long as it runs and cuts good.I sure miss my old Toro 328D..but its just to expensive to fix.My little piece of land put an end to the mower deck on the Craftsman GT5000 in 2 weeks..and then I tried a little cub (one of the Lowes ones I fear)and got one cutting out of it.

154 was underpowered.
Couldn't mow and drive uphill with my FIL's
The 184's seem better in a lot of ways.

As long as you take care of that deck and don't use it as a brush hog, it will last a long time.
