Guy Gave me this old International 184 last year..and how you see it is how I got it.He said the solenoid went out on it and he went and got a zero turn.I messed with it some today and found the solenoid is fine..but the PTO switch is bad.. so I ordered a nice used one off Ebay.I can jump the switch out and the starter turns over fine.Gonna have locate a set of points and such for it..but he said it ran good till it got to where he couldn't get the starter to turn over and he started taking it apart..Wish me luck.IMG_20160330_170108_zpsdapjog83.jpgIMG_20160330_170045_zpsqfsnt77x.jpg

That looks like a fun project!

OK................ Good Luck.

The 184 was supposed to be the best one of the series.

i used to have a 154.  Under powered but easy to drive.  The wife liked it better than the Farmall Cub.

Good luck.   Let us know how it goes.   Rick

Sometimes the ugliest ones are the best runners. It does look like a fun project. Wouldn't it be great if you put it back together, cleaned it up, replaced the missing parts & she started right up.

Nothing better than a RED project.  I have tried to buy a couple but they think they are made of gold in this area.  Good luck with your IH project.

You are so right! you can buy a decent running tractor for the price of a non running Cub around here.
