I neglected my teeth for about 15 years. Spent a bunch of time and money getting them back to shape. I did not think they were that bad but they were. No cavities or anything like that it was all gums and below. I go for cleanings 3 times a year, twice paid for by insurance and one out of pocket. The cash price is way less than insurance price. Is it worth it, every penny to me. I lost one tooth up front and I have to wear a partial everyday. I have 3 others that are extremely loose but the are healthy other than that. I want to keep them as long as I can. I think its a small price to pay to be able to keep what I have.

This will probably freak you guys out, but I had horrible experiences with dentists as a kid, so much so that there is a full blown phobia about them as an adult. Now when a molar gives me trouble I pull it myself. At my age (and attitude?) I just deal with it.

Tie a string around it and then hook the string to a doorknob..

Slam the door and it's out!!   :anvil_drop:

Tie a string around it

With the root system on my teeth it would take something a lot stronger than a string. Tow rope maybe.
