I have manuals for some of the Haban Flail mowers.

However, the Haban 415 would be a Sickle-Mo for the Bolens Large frames. Are you sure you don't mean the 515?

The manuals I have are:

502 & 512 Parts catalog for various John Deeres.
503 & 503A for Bolens tube frames "Operation and Service Manual with Repair Parts List"
513/514 for Bolens large frames "Operation and Service Manual with Repair Parts List"

If you want any of those, Ican email it to you.

I assume that's directed at me.

WHICH "Deere Items"? The 502 and 512 Flail mowers?

Darned If I can remember where I saw it now? But there is a guy on the net who is a nephew to the Haban that owned the factory.
And he has saved all the manuals for Haban equipment.

That would be Erwin Haban, one of Joe's nephews.

He can be found on a Haban YAHOO Group:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Haban/

Back in Jan, he posted some VERY good news for anyone that owns or is interested in the Haban products:

Everyone,

I'm pleased to announce that after about a year of talks, I have now been the
recipient of the complete set of Microfiche "Instruction and Repair" Manual
files for all Haban products sold from the first day of operation (1952), to the
day the company was sold to the Polaris Investment Group in 1995. Using a quick
measurement of .005 per film, I figure I have 650+ files. A few Instruction and
Repair Manuals use two films, but most are covered with only one film. In
addition, there are special Model-Specific Instruction Sheets that are also on
Microfiche. My 2012 project will be to get all files scanned via a local (135
miles away) Genealogical Historical Society and on the Windows Live Haban
Attachments Website for all to access.

Your patience until complete will be appreciated.

Erwin

Not sure how long it's going to be before we see those manuals, but that is a GOLD MINE.
