Yea..and when I was a kid they banned M-80s..but folks around here use Tannerite for all their "Hey yall watch this" and here" Hold my beer moments."

That could have happened to anyone shooting a mower packed with 3 lbs of tannerite.

Tannerite is no joke and not a toy.

 

We had a 2 liter coke bottle FULL of it.  Taped it a tree at the camp that was at least 30" around.  We got back 400 yards and shot it.  When the dust and dirt and chunks of wood settled, the tree was the ground with a jagged stump. At 400 yards away the shockwave still hit us.

We had a moron north of here try to blow up a beaver dam with the stuff, scared the you know what out of everybody (a day after a terrorist attack in Europe), they said he wasn't breaking any criminal laws, but the DEC was investigating.
