Today while I was rebuilding the deck on the JD 285, my neighbor said " I wish I could afford a machine like this". I thought for less than a minute. I said Bill this is your tractor. I gave it to him. I told him if he bought the deck bearings, that he could have it. He gladly gave his CC info to the dealer who is shipping the bearings. It made me feel good to do it. He has an old Murray LT that is on its last leg, and being a retired vet, hes on fixed income. I have more than enough tractors. The lord has blessed me with the ability to fix anything i want to fix. My old buddy needed a good tractor so I fixed him up. The only string is that it couldnt be sold for any reason. So now Im on the hunt for another tractor from this series.
Very nice thing to do, God Bless

Matt, Being a Veteran myself, I feel Very PROUD to call you my friend.. Your Generosity goes above and beyond what most people in this country would ever try to do. Most of our Vets. don't ever get anything from anybody. I was Proud to serve and don't want anything in return, as do most Vets., But it was very thoughtful of you to take care of Bill that way. One day you will be rewarded beyond anything you can ever imagine. Thank You so Much !!!!

Matt, as a vet myself, thank you for the kindness you have bestowed on your neighbor. I'm sure he will be very grateful and most happy with his 'new' mower.

God Bless you and all of our Country Men and Women, both past and present. We'll never forget what you are doing, and for what each of you gave for us, and our Country!
