I need a little help in the closing days of this month. I just sandblasted the worst of the two JD 12x8.5 rims and it is rough around the valve stem, and needs more time for proper repair. I want to have the New Holland S14 plowing at Ball Hollow plow day the first day of April, and am pretty much out of time for this kind of set back. No other wheel backspacing fits this tractor properly than the 12x8.5 JD rim, and all of my loaded tires are 26" tall (too tall). If anyone has a good pair of 23x10.50-12 lug tires on JD rims (loaded would probably be benefitial to plowing), I have wheel weights I want to add on as well, so dont want show tractor rims. Anyway, if anyone can spare a pair of tires for Ball Hollow plow day or forever, please help me out.
Thanks,
Casey

Are ford or Massey wheels different? From the picture, of the s14, on tractor data, the wheels look like the deep dish part is on the outside. I know this is no help to you , was just wondering. I would help if I could.

The wheels on the Masseys are different I think. The JD rims are the identical backspacing to the S14, which are reversible. (I usually set them wide.)

Hi Casey,

I sure wish we weren't so darn far apart because I could probably help you out with your problem.

Ya Don, this distance thing is a real killer at times. Is any of the clan in your area heading to Daniel's plow day?

I have a good set of wheels but no tires on them. Will be there Friday morning if you want to attempt to mount some. I can toss them in my truck.

Eric, are the rims yellow still? I could mount and load tires on Friday...

One of my wants on this tractor is the wheels to be white (if mounting my tires and keeping the wheels), but consessions can always be made for stuff. One of the reasons I was sandblasting was rust, the other was the color change.

What is the back spacing dimension? I have a set of Tru Powers on Ford wheels that I might have room for. They are White wheels!

Casey check the rims on your E20, they should be the right width and colour.

Kenny,
I can't swear the backspacing but the offset in the wheel is only about an inch or two. So I would say on an 8.5" wide wheel it is 3.5" when set wide, and 5" when set narrow. I run them wide, and if I ever found 0" offset wheels I would scarf them up in a heartbeat for it, because I never can get the wheel offset, wheel weight combo, or valve stem location to ever cooperate with me lol. I am very flexible on the backspacing.
