I got the 3 point repainted, the plow touched up and the fat guy suspension spring (patent pending) installed.

In Spite of the fact that I had company and the 165 didn't want to run, still managed to get something done.

Now, these aren't restorations, but they are a refreshing. Which the three point desperately needed.

So, the fat guy suspension spring on the seat is a neat idea, is the seat hinged at the front, so the guy on the seat moves a bit. Picture of the front part of the seat, please. Massey Harris seats had a shock absorber on them too. Velvet ride, I think it was called.

Has your son gained that much?

Sears seats aren't hinged, but oddly enough, this is part of a Velvet Ride spring.
It had broken off about a third of the way down.

What mean?  Just the same as those later CHEAP Bolens seats with springs!  ON the plow, too pretty to use now, wrecked that! :D
