Looks and sounds good but I sure don't see $3K there.

I sold a running 12 hydro for $150 a couple years ago. It even had a new starter. Then sold another 12 hydro, rougher body, but more new parts, new front tires, etc for about $225, I think. Sold him four decks  @ $25 each.   Both were Tecumseh's that probably needed rebuilds. I have seen other people manage to get $300 + for similar units in similar condition but I couldn't sit on them any longer, tried to sell for over a year starting them in the $300 each price range.  Saved the third one to restore. Even after a thorough restoration I wouldn't expect $3K for it.

I'm the guy who listed the tractor for sale on CL. I know the price is too high, but I had a hard time finding anything to compare it to so I just listed it high and figured I'd start dropping the price until it sold. To my surprise I have had a couple people contact me so I'll let you know what it does sell for.

In my neck of the woods, $1,500 would be a selling #, I'd start around that.

Thanks. The tiller is why I started so high. I don't see them very often and it works so well! ... Just FYI.

Andy we're glad to have you on here. Please stick around. We don't get a lot of folks with MMs.

I got an offer of $1700 for the tractor. I'm hesitant to accept since I've been getting a whole lot of interest. Is $1700 a good offer?
