Says he's looking for a project car, around here you can find some in that price range still, also says he as another tractor with a sickle bar, and other attachments to through in for the right car.

Looks pretty nice and well cared for, nice work on some areas.  Is 1200 too much for this?  Not sure if special model or not, but looks real complete to me and nice features. They are RARE you know! :D

Not at that price.  It's decent, but they butchered the shift plate due to the sloppy shifter.

   I would say the price is not overly bad, I paid $500 for mine and it is unrestored needing work.  a restoration would at least cost $500.  plus he says he will dicker on the price maybe you could have it for $1000 or $900 and be happy.  overall if I had the spare cash I would call and try to negotiate.

PS  I have always found it hard to sell a tractor for more than $300 no matter what the cond or rarity, it seems to be a money thing. people just don't want to spend over $300 to $400 on an old garden tractor.

This tractor has been for saw before. I think it was in the $750 range but I may be wrong. I was thinking there was an issue with the transmission when it was for sale the first time. This maybe corrected now.
