Wanted: Right angle gearbox assembly for an MTD 960

He is looking for the angle box behind the clutch, it is the box but the input shaft is for the pilot, clutch and throw out bearing

I'm not 100% sure but if you need just the gears you might be able to use a set out of a MTD 760/960/990 Deck gear box.

 

 

 

Looking at the gear box it looks very similar to the gear box's on the old Sears Custom Mower decks.Not sure if the gears are the same size but might be worth looking into.Sears custom decks have 1 RH and 1 LH gear box.
