There is a Bolens G-12 a couple hours away from me with the hydraulic lift assist, which I want for my 1050.  My question is, will the attachments I have for my 1050 work on the G-12 without a ton of modifications?  I read the book on tube frames, but the G-12 isn't really explained.

If I can just get the whole tractor and get it running, I would love to have one for mowing the yard and one for blowing snow.

Yes, it appears the Bolens bug has bit me.

Yes.  .....Most attachments will not need any modifications.

The mower deck for a G12 will have completely different hangers than the 1050's deck.  ....Snowblower will go on either tractor without modification.

I had a 1050 with front blade, snow thrower, red deck and black tiller.  I sold the tractor a year ago because I had a G12 with a 14 hp Tech re-power that ran good.   I used the deck mounts off the 1050 on the G12 with no problem.  The tiller if found out yesterday needs a longer lift arm than my 1050 did, however my lift arm was home made and not original. I also removed the deck mounts so they would not interfere with the drive shaft.  Sold the deck so the mounts will go with it anyway.

You should not have any problems that you can't handle with the switch.
