Thanks Kenny, I always appreciate your compliments.  I know you're a Ford guy, so when I get this project done I'll be sure to keep up on the updates of my LGT 195 rebuild thread for you.

All of the Massey's have the option of adding the third valve. The holes are already punched in the valve mount and the outline is there on the fender console for cutting out the plastic for the valve handle.

It's for angling the blade, either front or back, hydraulic trailer dumping, a gauge wheel for the back blade to turn it into a grader, or any other use of a small hydraulic cylinder that you can dream up.

Hey TUDOR. If I you were to pick up a spare control valve could you pull it apart and add one of the spools to another valve, to make it a 3 spool?

Just found this thread, I guess I don't get on here enough anymore lol. I read it right from the start, you did a great job on the tractor. Lots of great information. Makes me want to get out and work on my 1650 project again.

Yes you can do that! Just need longer bolts to hold it all together. May need seals as well!

Thank you.  Unfortunately it's going a bit slower than I'd like, but it's getting pretty close and I'm hoping that it should be up and moving (and maybe even rototilling if I get the courage to get the tires dirty) by the Spring time.

I picked up a spare set a while back, I hope to add the 3rd valve whenever I get tractor running.

When I ever get that point, I plan on using the outer plate/vale and making a inner backing plate and using the single lever for an attachment on my sears.

Let's push this farther, anybody just double up on the valve: ie, 4 spools?

Just wondering.

Dan

You'll have both the outside parts to make a single spool with it!

Four spools won't fit under the fender.
