She fired right up with a little gas poured in the carb.

1977 model. Nowadays that upper grill is worth almost as much as the whole tractor.

Typical cracking plastic dash on the sides, my 77 is starting it too.

I got the carb kit,drive belt and tire inner tube ordered for it. I will have it ready for the Texas Garden Tractor Show.

Soon as I get a screw for the carb bowl I can get her running again.

A good old wash and wax is the best way...hardest part is the hand labor required.

New pump isn't pumping gas. I got it in this order cover,gasket,spring and cap,diaphragm,pump and then  the gasket. I took it apart twice and still ain't getting anywhere.

New pulse line , tried my hand over carb , filling the line of with gas , priming the carb with gas , remote gas tank above carb , took the pump apart a few times and I even tried what someone recommended with oil on the gasket but still not pumping gas.

Yes it was the needle causing the problem.
