Already called the guy about getting just the hydro lift off of it for my 1050.  He wants $200 for just the lift.  Not sure I want to pay that much for it.  Only paid $400 for my 1050 and all of it's attachments.

Offer him $200 or $225 for the whole tractor.  If you get it you can pull what you want off and sell the rest to someone else for $100.

The tractor don't look bad compared to some I have seen for that price, could be a good project for someone.

That's a good going rate for the hydraulic pump, most of the time if there in good shape not leaking they will do $250.00,I know some will tell you they but them for alot less, but I have seen these sell for years at that price or better,as MiCarl said try to dicker a little, that's probably an asking price, just my thoughts

Hydraulic pumps pricing has gone down last one on ebay sold for $173.  I picked up one last summer for $125 off ebay and another nice one for $75 last fall.

If the lift is is operating condition they seem to go for around $200 or less in todays market, I remember when I first started searching on ebay they would bring crazy money but there seems to be an infux of them appearing lately and thats driven the price down.

The main things to check is the cylinder rod to see if its rusty or pitted and your return spring is not broken those are one of the most expensive things to replace if broken.
