Well today the guy finally started on the duct work install. Yes finally almost a month later. This is exactly why I never hirer contractors to do any work!

I was very clear where i wanted vents and duct work ran. He did half the work today d guess what? It's all in the wrong places. He is coming back tomorrow. I left him a voice mail and I went around and wrote with sharpie everything that was wrong. 90% of it.

Told him if he wants paid his labor then he will do it correctly.

He put a vent in the middle of the area where I need to put a wall to cover the duct work.

I can't find my old thread...

But my two bedroom addition is shaping up. My sons room is done. The walk in room/hallway is 3/4 done and the new master bedroom is about 1/2 done.

I haven't made the progress I'd like but you never do. Between work, other projects around the house, procrastinating, and hurting my back i haven't really been working at it as much as I'd like.

But here is my sons room. He starts out sleeping there but I always wake up to him climbing over me to get in our bed.

Amazing what you can do with a lot of time and money.

I'm about 3500 deep into it. Everything is bought but the paint.

Time however. Oh man that's the costly one. I don't even want to know how many hours I have invested into this.

That was a Garage? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

That could of been tractor storage lol Just kidding.

You do good work.I'm not much good at drywall taping and sanding but framing, wiring and plumbing I can handle.I would put gfci outlets in there so he doesn't get hurt when he sticks something in the sockets. We all did that when we were young don't deny it lol.

It was a garage. I have a detached garage in the back but it's in poor shape. The roof started leaking and it has some issues.

I got the go a head to do a 30x40 pole barn in the spring!
