This makes me very very pissed off. Please all you Canadian members talk to your mp and tell them to oppose this bill. I will be talking to all the local mp around here.

Please oppose this bill, our heritage depends on it.

Right now I am too angry to comment, other than to say shades of Bill !##!%$$!, AKA "THE GUN LAW" . The shark fin problem has to be dealt with on an international level. This bill is poorly conceived and deals only within Canada, not where the problem originates. Thinly veiled attempt by the animal rights activists, IMO.   And yes, it could extend to me not being able to butcher my own chickens in the most humane way possible...chopping their heads off with the axe.

Seems that link may not be a working one, or at least us Trouble-makers to the South can't open it.

It is Bill C-246, called "The Modernizing Animal Protection Act." Check specifically Section 182.1.(1)  It is a private members bill, proposed by a Liberal member from Toronto, last week.

Pretty loose translation. Seems like it would be up to the CO discretion to determine if your game was harvested in a humane fashion.  Tree huggers always been a thorn in our side. They got the spring bear hunt cancelled for many years. We just got it back. Some communities were overrun with bears during hot dry summers. Manitouwadge On you could drive through town any time of day and count a 2 dozen black bears,,and 40 more at the dump! Any tree huggers claim there was no problem.  Trap the bears and drop 'em off downtown Ottawa and see if bears are not a problem.

Pretty soon, between the environmentalists, activists, tree huggers and any other nut out there, that don't have anything better to do, we wont even be able to dig potatoes or carrots with out getting in trouble.  Just my opinion, to many regulations nowadays.

Yes fishing could be illegal, if the fish dies inhumane

You can get charged just for baiting the hook, cause you kill the worm with the hook :wallbanging:

Wonder if you get charged if you kill a deer with your car hmmmm

I posted the link to my facebook page,

The huggers piss me off some times, but this guy is going dangerous places.

It wouldn't surprise me if some one had a violent personal issue with him.
