Who has gone to Harbor Freight (or any tool store) with a Single Tool purchase in mind, and Came out with ONLY that tool?
Not me... Needed a Tap and Die set, got it, and a box of screws, Sand paper, and a Detail Brush set. If I had picked up a carry basket I would have got more.

Have to agree with you guys. I just turned in a bid to build a Harbor freight in Alton IL .  The company is wanted to build  a lot of new stores

all across American . One coming to a neighbor hood near you.

We got an HF, I'd like a Northern Tool, but I'll take what I get.

I admit I always grab more than I need in there..  It's like a chick in a shoe store I swear!!

I've struck out more often looking for a cheap alternative to a specialty tool I've needed when working on a car or truck..

Man-heaven!!   :rocker2:

My HF is an hour away so, I only get there occasionally. BE SURE TO GET YOUR FREEBIES! Those little flashlights are very handy.

Stocking up saves gas in the long run. I hate to make a trip for just one little part. Yesterday, I was adjusting the brakes on my Case 222. There is an adjusting clevis which was frozen. I used PB Blaster for a week but it was still stuck. I put a propane torch to it and it melted! I found 3 new clevises in my hardware assortment. I ended up having to chase the threads on the existing rod and the new clevis. It is now in and working fine. I have always stocked critical parts because my cars were in the habit of breaking on Sundays back when nobody was open then. It paid off dozens of times. Whether it was points, filters, brake lines, belts or flat tires, I was ready(Be Prepared). Good Luck, Rick

Any store like that I can't not walk out without spending at least a 100 dollars.

Rural King and Harbor Freight are the worst for me.

My store is 30-45 minutes away depending on traffic. After work the other day, I stopped in and got 1 item, but wanted more! Just couldn't part with the $ right then!
