Frame rails leveled up and tacked to the rear end. Next up driveline placement. 2d7c5cc8dbcc183ba7bcf3c10ea891fe.jpg67cbff33ba04d22ab84ce352e8791615.jpgd6973a944d8e91ed3a0b57c894ba5507.jpga46d00d15135a1026a9b6da85ee7381c.jpg

Looks like it'll work! Have to clearance the gusset piece and move the rear crossmember back a couple inches. This will allow me to place the transmission lower. Plan to put the. Battery next to the transmission. c89cae006f5c392c5983a0bf32cdd206.jpgde2627f0dd6cbcf721f808cfd4fec660.jpg76a93a789d042fd231eaa9fb65ec2d6f.jpg9dba28442f714fc50d0b27a1196c6f68.jpg

That's looking good.

I was going to question the engine crankshaft rotation until I went back and took another look at the orientation of the rear axle.

True.

I will however need to use a double-V belt and open reversing technique for the PTO. The motor is flipped in the Bolens OE setup.

Grinder with sanding disk and a splined pulley hub... Transmission input side is done. Output side for another day.

Made some good progress on the front transmission mounting plate. Still have to finish the notch and create the rear mount. Also bought a pair of front wheels. Will mount both up tomorrow.

That transmission mount sure looks like it will be good and solid.

Upon further investigation it looks like I need to replace the input shaft bearing. Will also shorten the input shaft while I'm at it. 2-2-1/2" less frame length is fine with me.

Lol answers my questions then... I was planning to pull the bushing back off again and shorten the input shaft. Also was going to look into the bearing thing. Seemed like there was some play on the shaft. Must be that there is no bearing eh?
