Thanks guys. Once I get through these basic functionality of the machine things I can start on some fun ideas I have.

Battery tiedown brackets are welded on. There's enough room to pad the tray and threaded rod piece. Woohoo!

Good progress today. I had to remove the seat and rear end to cut off the first revision of mounts. Cleaned up most of the welds before my lunch hour ended. Tomorrow I'll finish that up and reattach the rear.

Tack welded down the rear section of the frame. Next up to create a new seat mount piece. Then get back to what's needed to drive this thing!

Slotted seat mount as been fabricated and tack welded in. I put a slight slope towards the front intentionally to help keep the seat from going too far back. Gives me 6" of adjustability to the seat location too!

Need to find the carriage bolts lol.

Next up reattaching fenders and finishing up gas tank.

3/8" end mill?

It's a Jet mill machine... Looks like a way oversized drill press w/2axis slotted table.

Slot is 1/2" wide on the seat mount piece I made. Unsure if this answers your question.

Yup. It looked nice and true, so I figured you had access to a milling machine. Looks great

Fenders back on and steering pulleys tweaked for smoother operation. Next week starts final gas tank fan and exhaust mounting.

Decided to work on the foot pegs today. Came up with a simple 1" square tubing design off the side of the frame. Tried about 5 different locations and this one should work well with the exhaust.

Will have mounted pics tomorrow.
