Aftermarket Oil Control Ring Install Problem

It isn't made like the Briggs and Stratton OEM ring. I don't know how to install it two thin ones and a spacer.

Install the spacer first and be sure the ends of it aren't overlapping.  If the ring has a mark on it that side goes up. No mark makes no difference.  (Same for all rings)

 

Then install the bottom oil ring below the spacer.  Make sure the end gap is at least 90° away from the spacer.

 

Then the top oil ring goes above he spacer ring..  Make sure the end gap is at least 90° away from the other ring / spacer.

 

Putting those things together can be a PITA but with patience it can be done..
