This file is only a interim step in the development of the database that I hope to have when this project is "done". So far it only contains tractors, not attachments, and not all of the tractors that the filename would imply.

We still do not have copies of the Parts Lists for the 1254-02, 1255-02, and 1656-04, so they are obviously not included.

I will not guarantee that there are no errors. The folks who helped out by proofreading the Excel files in comparison to the PDF scans and I have done the best that we can to assure the accuracy of the database, but there could still be a few glitches.

We also left the Descriptions pretty much as Bolens had them in the Parts Lists so they would match what your own Parts Lists would show. That said, we did make corrections whenever we saw something that was clearly an error, like a PTO belt being listed as 3/4" long.

Enjoy!! We are not done yet!

I apologize for doing this to you guys so soon, but overnight 29 Chev and I found a few of those glitches. So here is the updated file for Tube Frames and Large Frames.

By the way, the Tube Frame part represents 65 tractors if you count each version of a tractor separately. Add in the three that we have not found Parts Lists for, and you get an amazing number of Tube Frames. Anyone want to collect one of each tractor for posterity?

And a reminder: this database project is intended to help find what a given part number was used on, not serve as a Parts List for a specific tractor. The standalone Parts Lists fulfill that need.

Let's see 65 tractor models at $100.00 each (minimum value if they are running and useable) = $6500.00 - that darn "Bolens Bug" is an expensive disease to have.

I've just had a count up and I only have 19 different models, clearly I am not trying hard enough. I will try that line with SWMBO later and then run :-)

I exchanged the revision A file for one that has the part number filters cleared.

Unless you are using Excel 2007 or later, probably you cannot open the file, even though you can download it. If the version of Excel is the problem, let me know. Ultimately though, the database will have to be either in Access or Excel 2007 or higher. The issue is the number of lines that the earlier versions of Excel allow in one worksheet.

I have the manual for the 1254-01

Thanks. We are good on the 1254-01, but would like to find the 1254-02 if it exists.
