My 2 cents ,
We put both wheel weights on the left side, with the right side in the furrow, the left side is light on our 66 ~ 69 Suburbans
I hope you all have fun,

With the limited slip rear in the FF & 75 lb. weights, I did fine at Ball Hollow. This is the same rear end, but I will have loaded tires this go around! And the new AG's will be a plus I'm hoping! Gotta load both sides equal to keep the weight on them. Looking at 140 lbs per side this time! Time will tell!

Got lots to do before we leave on the 31st. Tires to mount, brackets for the new weights, get the PU ready for the trip, and spending time with all you fine folks! But I'm ready to turn some dirt.

Sounds like you'll be ready for dirt tossing for sure! I'll be lucky to get my fuel tank topped off !

I'm looking forward to seeing both of you in KY. I followed the weight molding process carefully, it's something I've thought about but never got to.

I'll be making another pair before long! This time, I'll use the HF bender for the metal straps in there.

I just checked and the back tires will be here today! So it's time to pull the old ones and get ready!

Got one tire off and ready! UPS is usually around 4PM. I had a concern about the foot boards rubbing. I didn't think about larger tires when I installed them. But it's an easy fix with the 20 Ton press!
Set the press up with a chunk of 1" OD iron pipe over where I wanted to bend and a few pumps later I was good.
Pulled the LH wheel & weights.
Tire is off!
Waiting for UPS to show!

Alice has some new rear shoes!!!!! Only got a little over 18-1/2 gallons in there as the middles were sucked in. Put 20 lbs. air in to stretch them out!
Seen the outside weights were sticking to the paint, so added some tape for that!
Here's the tires!!!
Here's what's left of 20 gallons of WW fluid!
This is more of what I envisioned! Tomorrow the new fronts will arrive!
Good clearance on things now!

I did weight the tires before mounting and got 120 lbs. per tire before adding the weights! Best guess is 180-185 lbs. per side!

That is wicked looking and the fronts will make it more so.
