Hi guys,

Well, someone had to do it and I figured it might as well be me. A while back I had posted on here and the Panzer Facebook page the info to a very nice Panzer T70 I believe it is with a front blade, pto and tiller that was for sale.

I read some of the comments in the other site and was quite disappointed in the bashing the seller took from some individuals. If you don't like or agree with a seller, just move on. Enough of that...

After a little back and forth, I was able to talk John into letting go of his treasure. We did a little trading and cash to boot.

The Panzer had been repainted years ago, but still shines like it was done yesterday. He really did a great job and his attention to detail and added personal touches are what makes this Panzer unique. There's a chrome pipe coming out of the original gas tank hole in the hood. The tank was moved under the seat and an external coil was added. There's a fighter pilot toggle for the ignition switch with a push button starter. This thing is great. From the replacement ag type wheels, chrome acorn nuts on the hood, chrome stack, custom front weight bar bracket! He added the front weight bracket as his area was going to start lawn and garden tractor pulls, but never quite made it to fruition. The front blade looks to have minimal wear as does the pto. The tiller looks to be in great shape, the tines look like new. He said he cleaned it up, but other than that, has never tried to start or run it. I drove it onto the trailer when I picked it up and off when I got home. All in all, a good day as most I have brought home are not runners. Anyone that has had one of these things die know they are not made to free wheel and put up a fight when pushed.

I drove it around the yard a bit and then parked it in the shed with the others.

Here are a few pictures. I'll post them to the facebook page as well.

John, if you're reading this, Thanks again!

Great looking rig.
I'm sure you will enjoy running it.
The tiller has to be uncommon. I don't think I've ever seen one before. Least wise, if I did, I had no idea what I was looking at.
It'll be fun to see you running that. Hope there is a video in our future.
As for the comments about the unit elsewhere... I wonder about people sometimes. :(

This thing would be a big hit at The Little Guys show in Mt Wolf, PA. They have tiller and plowing competitions there in May. Went there once a few years ago when Panzers were featured and it was neat to see 10 -15 tractors with tiller attachments lined up side by side all grinding up dirt at the same time.
