Thanks to my girlfriend finding out the hood ornament that was on my grandfather's 110 came off of a 1953 Ford I was able to find one on eBay. I won the auction and put it on the tractor yesterday. Now it really looks like it did when I was a kid. The best summer memories from when I was a kid were on this tractor and at my grandfather's house.

I've been looking at one of those in a local resell shop for quite a while.  They won't come down on the price.

Looks good on there.  Especially for  the memories it brings.    Rick

There is a few on ebay for pretty reasonable prices. I'd check on there too.

Makes neat memorable tractor out of it.  That ornament looks a lot like the Oldsmobile hood ornament of that same era.

Ok, so how did she figure that out?

I had quite a few pictures from back in the day. She narrowed it down to a Ford emblem. I agreed it made sense because my great grandfather was a ford mechanic for years. She then narrowed it down to a '53 or '54, and I sent a couple pictures to my mom who agreed it was a '53. She found a couple of them on eBay, and I was lucky enough to win the auction.
