The other day looking under the row cover on the raised bed , there WAS lettuce growing but it all but a very few died off . I walked by some collards left over from last year , out of 4 plants 2 somehow survived the zero degree weekend of a few weeks ago .Picked a new growing leaf and it wasn't bad .

I wonder if last years Swiss chard is still with us.

If I had anything left it was covered with goat manure and then plowed under last fall.  Did turn a few real small sweet potatoes.
