I picked up a pair of MTD rear deck wheels the other day. Went to put them on this morning and noticed a stem with a hole in the end protruding from the center of the wheel. Inside is a narrow groove through the hub parallel with the bolt. Seems that MTD is now putting a lube port on their rear deck wheels. Fronts don't have that yet or I got a pair of carryovers. A grease gun with a needle nose fitting works great for greasing the wheels. Should make them last a lifetime if we remember to do it.
