I was curious about how the reel mower on this performs? My yard has some ruts and hills, it is a country yard, not a groomed yard. The price is right, what model is this?
Would be my first articulating machine, and info is great. Thanks guys!

Looks like an EK10 (1967-1969) Model

They cut great but with a 30'' cut if you have  a big yard it will take a while :D

I make the lawn look like a golf course in the summer when I mow with mine

You'll need a tubeframe to back lap the reels when they get dull

Is that red stock?
My property is mostly garden and forest, only about half acre of grass.

No ,EK10 was yellow. Bolens 1000's pics show you one of his EK10s (yellow) and his very nice EK7 which is white

Buy it, I will buy that reel mower off you in a heartbeat. I have been searching for one for a long time, also the rear weight. If you do buy it I have a line on a front blower and rotary mower for it that I would be more than willing to trade even out if it makes sense to you. I would have to know soon because the blower and mower have been listed for sale recently. Up to you but great machines, I have been mowing two acres with mine for three years and love it. Good luck and hope we can work something out. Eric.

If I purchase it I would likely be keeping the reel mower depending on how it performs, so likely from what I read I would be keeping it. He says it ran when he parked it in the shed on his posting. I'll see what I can find out, hoping get it home and running and ready for spring.

If I had the space I would love to have one of them to do my lawn, I just have too many tubeframes laying around. Reel mowers for tubeframes are hard to find.
